Becoming Disability Confident & Creating an Inclusive Workforce – Event 6th September 2023

Workplace diversity has a proven effect on productivity. By improving diversity and inclusivity, employers gain greater access to talent and better employee experience.

The CRUMBS Project will host an event for Hospitality sector employers and people managers at the Mercure Bournemouth Queens Hotel & Spa on the 6th September 2023. The aim of the event is to inspire members of Dorset’s Hospitality sector to attract, employ, and retain people with disabilities.

The two hour free event will be run between 2:30-4:30pm. This includes presentations, discussions, and opportunities to network with other Hospitality sector professionals. Guest speakers will include Andrew Holland, Founder of sendme2work and Louis Rogers from Rick Stein Restaurants. Attendees will gain top tips on how to break down barriers and become more confident in creating an inclusive workforce.

There will also be opportunities to meet staff and trainees from The CRUMBS Project who will share their experiences.
