Ideas for your
fundraising event

From sponsored walks and fitness challenges to workplace fundraisers and charity bake sales, there’s something for everyone. Every pound you raise helps create more opportunities for adults with disabilities to learn, grow, and achieve their potential.
Alternatively, attend one of our fundraising activities – we look forward to working alongside you to make a meaningful difference.
Bake Sales
Whether you’re a star baker or simply love a slice of cake, a bake sale is a delicious way to support The CRUMBS Project. Host one at your workplace, school, community group or local event and bring people together over tea, coffee and homemade treats.
Collections
From collection tins on shop counters to fundraising buckets at events, every donation helps create opportunities for our trainees. We can provide collection materials and support to help make your fundraising a success.
Dress Down
Swap the suits for slippers, the uniforms for fancy dress, or simply enjoy a more casual day at work or school. Ask participants to make a donation to The CRUMBS Project and raise funds while having a little fun.
Quiz Night
Put your knowledge to the test and bring people together for an evening of friendly competition. Whether held in a pub, village hall, workplace or community venue, quiz nights are a fantastic way to raise funds and awareness.
Sponsored Challenge
From Jurassic Coast walks and charity runs to cycling events, swimming challenges or personal fitness goals, every challenge is an opportunity to support our trainees as they build skills, confidence and independence.
Film Night
Turn your living room, community hall, or workplace into your own cinema for the evening. Charge a small entry donation, grab the popcorn, and enjoy a film night with friends, family or colleagues.
Game Marathon
Gather your team, pick your game and take on a gaming challenge. Whether you’re streaming online or playing with friends, gaming fundraisers are a great way to engage supporters of all ages.
Active Fundraising
Host a sponsored fitness class, danceathon, yoga session or sports challenge. It’s a fun way to bring people together while supporting a local charity making a real difference.
Jumble Sale
Give unwanted items a new home while raising funds for The CRUMBS Project. Community sales are a great way to bring neighbours together and support a more sustainable approach to fundraising.
Community Lunch
Food has always been at the heart of The CRUMBS Project. Gather friends, family, neighbours or colleagues for a lunch, supper or shared meal and ask guests to make a donation in support of our work.
Learning Workshop
Host a workshop, demonstration or lunch-and-learn session based on your skills or interests. From photography and gardening to business expertise or creative crafts, it’s a great way to share knowledge while supporting a local cause.
Raffle/Auction
A fundraising classic! Ask local businesses to donate prizes and bring your community together for a raffle or auction. Every ticket sold helps create meaningful opportunities for our trainees.
Coffee Morning
Put the kettle on and invite people together for conversation, cake and community. Simple to organise and always popular, coffee mornings are a wonderful way to support The CRUMBS Project.
Talent Showcase
Organise a concert, performance, art exhibition, craft fair or variety show and turn your talents into a force for good. Community-led events are a fantastic way to raise funds while bringing people together.
