Mental Health Print E-mail

Mental illness affects 1 in 4 people in the population at some time in their lives. Access to help and support can be obtained through GP surgeries, local Community Mental Health Teams, counselling and psychology services. The voluntary and not for profit social care sector also has a major contribution to make in this area of support.

Crumbs has been involved in developing and providing a range of community services since 1994 for people with mental illness. These include a range of housing options, and employment and vocational services in local communities.

Crumbs is committed to providing a service which is focused on the needs and aspirations of the individual. This will include support from the local community mental health services. The support plan will include outcomes that will be agreed with the trainee and regularly reviewed.
